Last night, Nov 8th, Tom Kress was awarded the coveted "Firefighter of the Month" award. Tom's tireless dedication to the department is exemplary. Tom tried to join the department way back in 2021 when an unexpected health issue delayed his plans. Finally, Tom was able to join us in 2023. Starting out on the hydrant crew, Tom climbed the ranks and recently completed the 64 hour firefighter course and attended the "Live Burn" school at Tennessee's Fire and Codes Academy in Bell Buckle, TN. Tom is now a qualified interior firefighter. Great job Tom! Proud to have you on the team.
