The Fairfield Glade Fire Department Board of Directors is seeking to fill the position of Treasurer to manage the business and financial operations of the Fire Department. The candidates must have a solid accounting/financial background. This is a volunteer position.
The Treasurer shall have a working knowledge and/or experience with fire departments, local government or related private industry administration, finance, fundraising and/or experience working on or with a Board of Directors in non-profit, public benefit organizations. This person shall have behaviors of habits that ensure the highest standard of professionalism and moral character including, but not limited to, integrity, courage, fortitude, honesty, and loyalty. A working knowledge and/or experience utilizing computer programs in fire departments (or other companies) is required.
The Treasurer shall be dedicated to the purposes of this Corporation as set forth within the organization’s Bylaws and shall be a Tennessee resident and either a property owner or business owner within the community of Fairfield Glade. Candidates must be willing to consent to a background check.
